Troy is a 4-year old neutered male Rhodesian Ridgeback, weighing in at about 75lbs. He is a big, goofy puppy at heart that loves nothing more than to be with people. He would be an ideal companion for a person or family who leads an active lifestyle that he could be a part of. He offers the best of both worlds: he is happy to go outside, explore trails and run around, but he is also just as content to spend an evening cuddled up on the couch or on his bed in front of the fire. He is good with children and other animals, although he can sometimes be intimidated by larger dogs that he doesn't know. He is a very sweet and loving boy, who would benefit from having someone around often, or having another canine companion to keep him company. He loves his food and treats, and is on a special diet recommended by his veterinarian. He is very motivated to learn commands and, although he may need a firm yet gentle reminder every now and then, wants to do nothing more than please his people.
