Veronica's Story...
Veronica (aka Princess Vern) and her sister Lizzie are our “Walmart” puppies! These fluffy girls were being given away in the parking lot of Walmart and we wanted to make sure they were properly cared for and given good homes. These girls are approximately 10 weeks old and about 10 pounds. We were told they are golden retriever/labrador retriever mixes. Veronica is always on the go, but enjoys being held and cuddled when she feels like it. She loves to play with her toys and other dogs. Veronica is in foster care in West TN and will be transported once her adoption is finalized. If you'd like to add Veronica to your family, please visit our website at www.goofyfootrescue.org and fill out an application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Veronica, a Bedminster Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever for sale in Bedminster, or seeking a Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Bedminster.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bedminster already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bedminster breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bedminster paves the way for another one to be saved.
