My name is Honey-Bunny and I am a 9 year old Doxy/Terrier mix. Up until now I haven't had the greatest life and I am learning how a dog is supposed to live- happy and safe. My body tells the story of an uncertain past. I have scars all over me, and if you move to fast I run. I like getting pets, but my first instinct tells me to flinch. I am learning more everyday that I am safe and I am happier a little more everyday.
I am learning the ins and outs of living inside a home and I am house and crate trained. I LOVE the company of other dogs and follow their lead. I am very treat motivated!! Although I flinch a lot, I have not once growled or shown any aggression to my humans or canine residents. My foster mom says I'm the easiest dog she's ever had and integrated well with the resident dogs. I'm so quiet and nap a lot that you hardly know I am here!
I am now accepting applications for my forever home! I'm an old lady and would love a low key home who will give me lots of love (and treats!) for the rest of my life!

About Survivor Tails Animal Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Survivor Tails Animal Rescue is a 501c3, non-profit, all-volunteer organization that exists to rescue, rehome, and rehabilitate homeless, unwanted, abused, and neglected dogs and cats and place them in loving and responsible forever homes. More than 4 million cats and dogs die each year in animal shelters across the country due to overpopulation issues. That's why we're here. Our mission is twofold: to find these unwanted animals loving homes of their own and to work with communities and like-minded organizations to stop the issue of overpopulation from the top. We don't want to just put a bandage on the issue, we want to prevent animal homelessness from the getgo.
