Adele A's Story...
This leash-trained cutie pie is named Adele and she is a very unique kitten! She has proven her strong personality from the day she entered our program as a sick, fragile, thin, kitten. The shelter didn’t think she would make it through the weekend. She’s a miracle kitten. She’s now a strong, loving, sweet cuddle bug. She loves to sleep right on your pillow. She gets along with other cats without hesitation. She needs to warm up to dogs, but once she does, she’s happy to make friends with them. She definitely needs a forever home that will take her out for walks, on a leash of course. She loves nothing more than stroll around the neighborhood, crunching in the leaves, and laying in the sun. She’s even gone to the park and made friends with the ducks! She would do great in a family, with or without children, she definitely active and playful and would love lots of attention!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Adele A, a Huntsville Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Huntsville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Huntsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Huntsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Huntsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Huntsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
