Anna Beth's Story...
This is our sweet precious Anna Beth. The combination of Lab and Basset Hound is just amazing. She's goofy and just loves everybody and everything she meets! She came to us from animal control She had just weened her litter of puppies which is sad because she was just a pup herself when she gave birth. We believe her birthday to be in January of 2015. She loves to give wet sloppy kisses and actually thinks she's a lap dog! Anna Beth is spayed, micro-chipped, house broken, heart worm negative and up to date on all of her shots She is SO ready for a family to love her and give her a forever home! Could that family be yours??
Adoption fee $450

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Anna Beth, a Newark Labrador Retriever/Basset Hound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Basset Hound for sale in Newark, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Basset Hound dog from a breeder in Newark.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Newark already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Newark breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Basset Hound breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Basset Hound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Newark paves the way for another one to be saved.
