Hailey's Story...
Hi there! My name's Hailey! I'm a 3 year old boxer, who is looking for a new family to love. I was recently brought to the shelter by my owners, who were no longer able to care for me. I would like a home without children. I may be good with some small submissive dogs, but no large dogs please. I'm already up to date on vaccinations, spayed, and have a microchip. I'm also housebroken and ride well in the car!

Do you have room for a sweet girl like me in your home? The shelter is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 1-5, Tuesday and Thursday from 1-8, and Saturday from 10-2. Come visit!

You can see some of our adoptable pets almost every Saturday at the Petsmart in Greensburg from noon to 6pm and some Sundays too. All adoption fees include spay/neuter and up-to-date vaccinations.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hailey, a Youngwood Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Youngwood, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Youngwood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Youngwood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Youngwood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Youngwood paves the way for another one to be saved.
