Banks's Story...
Banks and Billy (11 months old) were rescued from Cabarrus County Animal Control and are now in foster care. They were surrendered by their owner due to an unexpected job loss and move. Per previous owner..."... Born February 5th, 2015.... They get along great with each other. Very people friendly. Billy is a lap kitty who loves to be petted. Banks is kinda a lap kitty who likes to do his own thing, and will also meow when you meow at him."

Banks and Billy love to be petted and sit on your lap. They are very playful boys. They get along fine with the other cats in their foster home but the dogs appear to frighten them. They would probably do best in homes without dogs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Banks, a Concord Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Concord, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Concord.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Concord already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Concord breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Concord paves the way for another one to be saved.
