Hillary's Story...
Approx. birthdate: September 14, 2015. Meet Hillary! Hillary and her litter mates were abandoned in a box next to their foster home!! Of course, even though their rescuer's home was completely full, she knew she had to take them in. They are all from the same litter, but all look very different. Hillary is very active. She loves other dogs and loves to play. She is also good with cats. She is very eager to learn new things. Hillary would do best with another dog in the house to help her with her confidence, or a patient home that will have a lot of time to spend with her. She is very playful and loves all her toys.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hillary, a Sterling Heights Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Sterling Heights, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) puppy from a breeder in Sterling Heights.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sterling Heights already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sterling Heights breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sterling Heights paves the way for another one to be saved.
