Tiger's Story...
Hello my name is Tiger! I'm a spunky little 1 year old guy that has a LOT of personality. I'm not the shy boy I was when I first arrived here...I have come out of my shell! I'm playful, feisty, and overall LOVE to hunt. I'm an indoor cat, not ready for the world outside nor would I ever be with my lack of experience outdoors. I must say though...any dogs I live with I cannot tolerate and would try to attack. I'm one of very few that wouldn't back down from a canine, and therefore wouldn't do well in a home with a dog. I'm great with people and other cats, and show off my hunting talents on lasers, fake mice, feathers, and even my tail. I'm entertainment for the whole family, and have one big personality in a tiny body. Fill out an application to adopt me at

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tiger, a South Haven Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in South Haven, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in South Haven.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in South Haven already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a South Haven breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in South Haven paves the way for another one to be saved.
