Yoda's Story...

Senior boy looking for a retirement home where he can get lots of love and cuddles in his golden years!

Yoda is a sweet, well behaved pug gentleman that is looking for his very own home to spend the remainder of his years. We believe Yoda to be 9-10 years old. He is fully vetted, heartworm negative, and microchipped.

This sweet boy was found tied to the fence of a shelter. We believe his former owner abandoned him here because of his hind end weakness. Although he has weakness, Yoda gets around pretty well - almost taking off in a full run! He sure isn't going to let this keep him down! At the rescue we have been keeping a belly band on him and he's doing great with it! He does seem to be able to hold his bowels well throughout the day.

Yoda gets along well with people, dogs and cats. He wants to be in the mix of everything going on in the house - so he will make someone a great companion!

If you are interested in adopting Yoda please email us at Our adoption application can be found at

Yoda has an adoption fee of $225.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Yoda, a Greensboro Pug dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug for sale in Greensboro, or seeking a Pug dog from a breeder in Greensboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Greensboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Greensboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug breeders who help with Pug rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Greensboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
