Find a pet to adopt
I am up to date with shots.
This adorable little girl was found as a thin stray, holed up on the side of the road in the freezing cold and snow. From the moment we picked this little cutie up she was nothing but loving. Sophie is quickly becoming a staff favorite here at the shelter. She is so affectionate and would do just about anything for a thorough cuddle session. Sophie is very smart and has already learned to sit for treats. She is currently working on "off" as she does jump up often to get your attention. This lovely little girl would like a home that would help build her confidence.

Why Adoption is a Great Option
Sophie, a Martinsville Vizsla dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Vizsla for sale in Martinsville, or seeking a Vizsla dog from a breeder in Martinsville.
Rescues and shelter volunteers in Martinsville already know the personality and tendencies
of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it
much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Martinsville breeder,
or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for
a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of
You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home.
In fact, there are even Vizsla breeders who
help with Vizsla rescue. One puppy or kitten
adopted in Martinsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
