My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Blue is a special little girl. She is a hound mix. Mom was a redbone mix and Dad was Plott hound. Blue is 1 1/2 years old and full of energy. She UTD on vaccines, spayed, microchipped, HW negative. Blue is a Tri State dog that sadly had to be returned because she kept escaping. She had a wonderful owner and we must say, for the record, that this was not the owner's fault. Blue is full of energy. She is great in the house and can be left unattended. Blue gets along with other dogs as long as they are calm and friendly. She is even good with cats. Blue is nervous and easily scared in new situations but once she gets to know you, she warms right up. Her ideal home would have a huge backyard with a tall, well built fence. The new family must be active and love to hike and play outside with her. She must be allowed to sleep in the bed as it makes her feel more secure. If at all possible, she needs someone with her a lot of the time so an owner who does not work or who works from home would be best.
