Juno's Story...
Hey! My name is Juno. I am a sweet young Tortie girl who was brought to the shelter at the end of 2015 as a stray. A nice Lady found me as a stray and thought I was pregnant so she brought me here! After being here a few weeks it was discovered I was not pregnant so now I am ready to find my forever home! I love to get pet and am a very loving girl but can be shy at first. As soon as I see a person walk in I start talking up a storm! Have you ever heard of tortitude? It's a special term for torties personality, and man do I have a textbook case! I would love a nap to lay on and a sun spot to lay in while I bathe myself. Come to the shelter to see me today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Juno, a Denver Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Denver, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Denver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Denver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Denver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Denver paves the way for another one to be saved.
