Joanna's Story...
Hello, my name is Joanna! I was relinquished to MaxFund along with my mother Gracie and my sister Midnight. My owners were no longer able to care for me and sent me here to MaxFund to find my forever home, and the rest of my family has since been adopted, so now I'm looking for a home of my own.
I got along with my mother and sister, but outside of them, I don't really like other cats. I would prefer to go home to a family whose only cat is me! I have not been around dogs yet; however, the staff thinks that I would do well with a respectful dog if introduced properly. I have a glowing personality that would blossom in a home of my own. I am a young, pretty kitty with lots of loving years left to give.
Come visit me at MaxFund and see if we are a match!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Joanna, a Denver Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Denver, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Denver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Denver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Denver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Denver paves the way for another one to be saved.
