Hello! My name is Mara, and I came from a high kill shelter in Texas with my two babies, who were adopted. I was malnourished and had some skin issues, but am all better! Now that my babies are adopted, I am available to be a families forever furry companion. I LOVE people!
I am very attached to my foster family, and love spending time with them. I enjoy playing, and have a lot of energy to spare. I'd love to be someone's running partner! I live with a respectful 9-year-old child and think I would do just fine in a home with children.
I was never crated due to being an outside dog in the past, but am now crate trained as well as potty trained. I do not prefer being crated though, as I have a little anxiety, but will tolerate it for short periods of time when needed. My mom leaves me in the bedroom with the crate open, and food and water when she goes to work, and I am very good. I prefer that, but I would rather be with you! Please consider bringing me home. I am a very well-mannered people pleasing gal!
