My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kamalli is a Boxer/Pit Bull Terrier-mix, female, 5 years of age; she’s been waiting to find a home since October 12, 2015. Friendly and sincere as they come, this girl is an affectionate and faithfully loyal dog who will form very deep bonds with her family members. Lively and sociable, Kamalli is, above all else, a people-oriented, people-pleasing dog. Craving companionship and close contact, she loves to give kisses and hang out with her people, and she’ll be happiest when included in daily activities with family members who are as devoted to her as she will surely be to them. Active, animated, and inquisitive, Kamalli is a confident and completely happy canine; always warm-hearted and aiming to please, she brings with her a totally can-do attitude and revels in praise for accomplishment.

More than anything Kamalli wants a home with a nice couch or bed where she can hangout on those lazy days and be a part of a family. Kamalli is best suited as an indoor pet and companion for a home with a low-active to moderately active lifestyle and no other dogs; she is, however, comfortable with cats and in fact makes quick friends with those who are willing. As with all Monroe SPCA adoptable dogs, a home visit and a meet-n-greet with any housemate pets will be required prior to adoption.
