My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Go get Glenn! He's a handsome 2 year old Boxer mix that arrived from another shelter so his history is not known. He's been a good boy during his stay at Friendship but Glenn longs for a home of his own. Not much is known about this friendly fellow so please stop by for a visit. Glenn is always up for a nice walk. You just may find yourself going home with your new best friend named Glenn.

On January 28, 2016, Glenn was selected to be one of Friendship's Prison Dogs. He is currently undergoing training at the Grafton Correctional Institution. Prison Dogs are trained in obedience, basic commands, manners and proper leash walking. He will spend approximately 12 weeks at the prison which puts his return date probably sometime in late March or early April. Prison Dogs cannot be visited during their training. All dogs return on an individual basis.

If you are interested in adopting this prison dog, adoption applications are now being accepted. You can find an app at friendshipapl.org under ADOPT-FIND A FRIEND. Hand deliver the adoption application to Friendship or call if you live a distance away to see if you can fax one in. Please DO NOT email the app.

All dogs receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are wormed, heartworm tested and spayed or neutered. Dogs 3 months and older are micro-chipped.
