Ephram's Story...
Ephram is a gentle and reserved black/white male kitten that sometimes appears fearful of new things. All Ephram requires is a home with a fairly normal routine and a family willing to introduce new things to him slowly and kindly. He does very well with a patient and caring human who like teaching him. He doesn't like to be held but has no problems cuddling up to you on the sofa or in bed. He's very sweet and playful and I think his reserved nature will disappear slowly once he's in a forever home with a routine he can trust. He's made friends with a special kitty named Joan and though I don't have the space her to explain her story, if you are looking for 2-3 kitty adoption please contact us to consider Joan (and her brother Piper) along with Ephram and we can give you more details.
All of our cats and kittens are spayed or neutered prior to adoption, up to date on shots, combo tested negative for FIV/Leukemia and microchipped.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ephram, a Covington Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Covington, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Covington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Covington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Covington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Covington paves the way for another one to be saved.
