We primarily focus on rescuing Brussels Griffons, Affenpinschers and mixes of these toy breeds. ABGRA’s rescued Griffs and Affens come from shelters, breeders and owner surrenders. Descriptions of these breeds can be found at these links: http://www.dogbreedinfo.com/affenpinscher.htm http://www.dogbreedinfo.com/griffon.htm
ABGRA currently needs foster homes in Mississippi as well as adjacent states. If you are an adult over 25 years old, work from home, do not have young children, have a securely fenced yard and can offer your time and love for Griffs and Affens in need, you may qualify to be a foster home!
Many of our Griffs and Affens also need transport to our foster homes in other areas. We are a charitable 501c3 organization, so fuel to transport these dogs is tax deductible to the extent allowed by law, as are monetary donations.
Please go to our website, www.abgra.org. You will find more information there and our foster home application, which is required for fostering and/or transporting. If you cannot volunteer, but would still like to help, tax deductible monetary donations for veterinary care are always needed too! ABGRA provides complete veterinary care for our rescued dogs, including spay/neuter, vaccinations, heart worm tests/preventative and other vet care as needed.
Please join with us to help rescued Griffs and Affens become healthy, happy dogs, enabling them to find their forever, loving homes. You will discover that nurturing and rehabilitating these precious little dogs will be one of the most rewarding experiences of your life! Inquiries about volunteering may be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Your message has been sent to American Brussels Griffon Rescue Alliance, Inc - MS..
You'll receive a copy, too, at to help you keep track of which pets you've inquired about, and which shelters and rescues you've emailed.
NOTE: Some shelters have physical locations you can visit; some of these shelters may only have pets for a limited time, so please do not wait for a reply—just go visit the shelter! Other organizations are rescue groups run by busy volunteers who may take a while to reply. You can find information about the shelter or rescue group caring for this pet, and their adoption procedures, on the pet's details page on Adopt-a-Pet.com.
