Bear Bear (Spayed)'s Story...
"Bear Bear" is a cute 2-year old female Jack Russell Terrier/Blue Heeler mix who was surrendered by her owner on January 9, 2016. This little sweetheart has a white short smooth coat, a docked tail, and an adorable face with big brown eyes and large erect ears (which are sprinkled with black/brown spots). "Bear Bear" is a frightened little girl who wants attention so badly, yet she is apprehensive about whom she trusts enough to give her that attention :( Our compassionate kennel techs have been giving her extra TLC, and she trusts them but is still slow to warm up to people she doesn't yet know. We had taken "Bear Bear" outdoors for photos but she was just too nervous to pose for glamour pictures. So we opted for taking photos in the lobby and in her cage where she felt most comfortable. "Bear Bear" will make someone a nice little companion with a some patience and understanding. We'd suggest that anyone interested in giving this little girl a home should visit her in the shelter and spend one-on-one time to gain her trust. "Bear Bear" isn't a very big girl. She currently weighs 25.8 lbs. She was spayed on February 1, 2015 and was also given rabies vaccine. "Bear Bear" went to a wonderful foster home that same day <3

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bear Bear (Spayed), a Marietta Jack Russell Terrier/Blue Heeler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier/Blue Heeler for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier/Blue Heeler dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier/Blue Heeler breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier/Blue Heeler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
