My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! I'm Peppermint Patty but my friends call me Patty! I'm a young, small, sweet, active beagle. I love to play. My favorite games are tug and fetch! I LOVE toys, love going outside and running in my foster family’s fenced-in yard (I would really like a fenced-in yard to explore in my new home or someone that could take me to the dog park everyday), love the dog park, play dates with other dogs, and people. People are awesome! (I'm good with the all the kids I've met of all ages).

I've had a few accidents while at my foster home. My foster family is working with me on being completely potty trained and it's going pretty good. I love the other three beagles that live at my foster family's home and would love to have a canine sibling in my new home.

I have an adorable bay that I like to use when I'm trying to get someone to play with me or if I want something else. It is pretty big for my little girl size so it would be best if I didn’t live in an apartment. But let me tell you, I love a nap and love to sleep through the night snuggled up to a human!

I, of course, love food. Carrots and green beans are two of my favorite treats! I like to hide treats sometimes for later which makes my foster family laugh watching me be a goofball. I am really good about listening when my foster family tells me something. I know basic commands and my name. I still get a little scared of new things but once I get to know what's going on with the help of my foster family, I am just fine! My first encounter with the vacuum had my foster family amused! It wasn't even running!!! My foster family says I give the sweetest kisses and am very cuddly. I love affection and love to give it back.

I would really like a family to call my own. Could that be you? If you think so, could you please contact Midwest BREW to talk to my foster family about me? I can't wait to meet you!!!
