My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is the sweetest girl and she would love to have another playful doggie as a sibling or very active parents. We think that Lexi is probably a German Pinscher Mix. If you have not ever heard of a German Pinscher well you are not alone. They are not really common in the states. She is probably about 30 pounds---not too big and not too small but just right. She has a very sweet and loving disposition but will be protective of her family and that is a sure trait of the German Pinscher.

The German Pinscher is a size between a Miniature Pinscher and a Doberman Pinscher. The German Pinscher was actually around before either of the other Pinscher breeds were and they were the foreparents of both the dobbie and the min pin. One of my personal dogs is a German Pinscher and I can vouch for what a good dog that they are.

This is what Lexi's foster mom has to say about her:
Lexie is an adorable, loving, good dog. She is mostly house trained and would be easy to finish out when she finds her forever home. She LOVES to play. She loves for you to throw anything for her to fetch. She returns it really well and drops it for you to pick up. I am working with the "sit" command with her. She is very smart.

She needs someone that will take her on walks and play with her a lot. Lexie loves to sleep with you and cuddle. She is very still and sleeps all night.

Lexie is a real sweetheart. She would be a great addition to a fairly active family or couple.

P.S. She will bark at cats, but does not hurt them.

If you would like to meet this precious girl then trot on down to Petsmart at I10 and Bunker Hill on Saturday between 11am and 3:30 Pm (off the first Saturday of the month). If that does not work out for you then shoot an email to infoerescuehouston@gmail.com and ask for an application. Once completed and approved you can schedule an appointment to meet her.
