SNAP Cats rescued Marvelina from Silicon Valley, CA. Marvelina, along with her sisters, Thumbelina and Athena, has a very mild case of cerebellar hypoplasia (CH). Unless you look very close it’s hard to tell that she has it al all. She’s still a bit shy, but is making progress every day at socializing with humans. Marvelina’s fine with other cats, not sure about dogs. She climbs, jumps (a little) and gets around without any trouble at all. Marvelina has no problems with the litter box, and plays like a typical kitten. We’d like to see Marvelina adopted with one of her siblings (especially Athena). But she definitely enjoys the company of other cats so she’ll need a playmate regardless. Please come out to SNAP Cats to meet Marvelina and the other kitties at our new facility. Thanks!

About SNAP Cats

About Our Rescue Group...

Animal shelters, cat rescues and sanctuaries in Sonoma County (and the U.S.) are full. Innocent cats are being killed due to lack of space and/or funds. The first cats to be killed are special needs, elderly and feral cats, or cats who aren’t deemed “adoptable.” That’s unacceptable.

SNAP Cats is the only rescue & sanctuary in Sonoma County dedicated to special needs cats. SNAP Cats' specific focus is rescuing these cats, housing them, then finding them loving homes. We believe, if given a few more days or weeks or months, an older or special needs or feral cat can find the home that they deserve.

Therefore all cats at SNAP Cats, regardless of health, age or temperament, are available for adoption or foster care. Those who cannot or are not adopted, due to age, illness or temperament, are able to live out the remainder of their natural lives in a peaceful, healthy, serene environment, free from judgment or harm.

Our Adoption Process...

Fees vary per cat. All prospective adopters must fill out an adoption form, then meet with an adoption councilor.
