Here's what the humans have to say about me:
We save so many of our dogs from high kill shelters and that is where little Evie came from. We walked around the shelter to see which ones we could help. We came across this little dog jumping up asking to be picked. We asked what the story was on her and the paperwork said unwanted. Unwanted we thought, that is so sad to say that about such a sweet living breathing animal. We said we want her, she is very wanted. She is in a foster home where she is being well loved and getting more attention than she has probably ever had. Evie did not like to look at the camera so this was the best we could do. She is adorable and very loving. She loves to lay right next to her foster mum at night and has even started to give kisses. She is no problem with the other dogs in the house that range from 5lbs to 90lbs. When the cat is on the ground she will run up on her so we think she would be better with no cats. She is 11lbs and about 6 years old. We believe she is a Chihuahua/Dachshund mix. We think she would be well suited in a house with older children as Evie is not big on playing, she just wants a lap to snuggle on and be loved on. She is fully vetted meaning fixed, current on all shots, heart worm negative, micro chipped on monthly prevention and even had a dental.
