Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Esmerelda is just the sweetest, best little girl in the whole world! She was picked up as a stray and taken to the pound. She quickly became a staff favorite, and they raised money to get her a dental and a benign bladder tumor removed. She was our our choice of all the dogs to rescue on Christmas Eve so that she wouldn't have to spend the holidays in the shelter. Esme is a senior girl, estimated to be between 10-12 years old, but she has a lot of life left in her and is very healthy now! She is terrific with kids and all other dogs! Her new family must know that her sleeping in the bed at night is absolutely necessary! Esmerelda is 100% house-trained! Lots of small dogs have accidents, but Esme is excellent about going outside to potty! I honestly have to say that Esme is one of the easiest dogs that we have ever rescued. She has no bad habits. Occasionally she can be a bit demanding about getting petted by pawing at you if you stop to soon, but that is seriously the worst habit she has. Adoption fee for Esme is $100 and she is already spayed and up-to-date on DAPP and rabies vaccinations. If you are interested in meeting Esmerelda, please email Delon.Washo@asu.edu or text your email address to 602-295-4518 and let us know that you are interested in filling out an application on Esme.
