Please Sponsor Me:  I Am Not Available For Adoption.  I am an older dog and a life time/haven dog here at the rescue due to heart health issues.  I am Not Adoptable,.......but I sure would like it if you could donate to help with my care and vet needs.  Any size donation is greatly appreciated,  Thank you for your kindness!

My name is Putnam, but these folks call me Putt Putt.  I am a small, blonde 11 plus year old cocker boy. On New Year's day, I was lost and wondering the roads until I was picked up as a stray in West Virginia by Animal Control. .Because no owner showed up to claim me and I am older, the shelter asked for rescue help to get me updated on needed vet care and a good home. A nice adopter/volunteer living in WV agreed to pick me up.  She drove me to meet up with the rescue
owners husband and he brought me here to rescue.

I am heartworm negative, petite for a guy, kind of shy and just a real sweet guy, I am pretty well house trained, but my heart health issues will not get better. On my initial vet visit I came to rescue loaded with fleas, I had anemia and needed to be groomed. These issues were taken care of and I had to have some dental work done too. Since I cannot be adopted out, you can help with my vet needs by sending a donation in my name to: CCR, P.O. Box 1050, Kannapolis, NC  28081.   A donation of any amount is tax deductible, very appreciated and I thank you for caring enough to help me to have a comfortable life for however long I have to live. I would have been a wonderful companion for someone to adopt and love but my heart issues have gotten worse and now there is nothing they can do for me to make it any better.....  Please donate today to help this rescue with my care.

Send donation to:  CCR, P.O. Box 1050, Kannapolis, NC  28081 and put my name on it so that they will know it is for me.

Donations Needed and Appreciated: This sweet cocker boy has come to rescue and needs a major dental with teeth removal. He is a senior, so he will need fluids and antibiotics. Please help CCR to pay his vet bills, we need to raise $300 to $400 dollars for his vet care.

About Charlotte Cocker Rescue of NC

About Our Rescue Group...

My husband and I have been involved in rescue for many years. We started our own cocker rescue back in 2001. Our hope is to continue the work we love in helping as many homeless and shelter cockers find happy new forever homes.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We show pets upon application approval and home checks. Once all is approved we arrange for adoptions to happen on Saturdays. As we grow we will maybe hold weekend adoption shows.

Our Adoption Process...

Our adoption process begins with applications which we email to potential adopters. Our fee is $300 for which all pets are altered, groomed, current on all shots, as well. Written proof is given to each adopter at time of adoption.
