Here's what the humans have to say about me:
BamBam is an absolutely stunning 2.5 year old Pit bull mix, who is looking for his Betty and Barney! While we didn't quite find Bam in a turtle shell on our doorstep (like his namesake), he sure did come into our lives in an interesting way! Bam was actually born in to RSHT, way back in July of 2013, when we rescued his very pregnant mom Chloe from the Hartford shelter. Bam was adopted at 8 weeks old and was doing wonderfully in his home, but unfortunately, recently BamBams family reached out to us, and due to a change in their lifestyle, told us they needed to surrender Bam. As always, once a RSHT dog, always a RSHT dog! BamBam is now being fostered with one of his litter-mates and looking for his true forever family. BamBam is a big boy, about 75 lbs and could stand to gain a few more. He is the happiest boy in the world (so happy in fact that he had to have his tail docked due to a severe and persistent happy tail infection), enjoys going for walks, and absolutely loves to snuggle and be with his people. Bambam is currently fostered with 2 other male dogs and does well with them both. He has lived with children in the past and done fantastic, though he is a large boy, so we do not suggest very small children. Bam thinks just about everything is wonderful...except for cats!! BamBam would love to find his perfect match in time for Valentines Day - he isn't picky, his ideal home just needs to have a couch to lay on, some treats to snack on and someone willing to pretend that it isn't weird at all, that even at 75 pounds, he thinks that he is a lap dog. He is house -trained, neutered, up to date with vaccines, and microchipped. If you are interested in adopting BamBam, please fill out an application on our site, RSHTR.com.
