Plenty of my friends are looking

Trixie's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, a special needs pet, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Trixie's Story...
Trixie is a 6mo old Aussie mix. She is very sweet, and great with kids, cats and other dogs. She is currently in a foster home with kids and dogs, and is doing well with crate training and house breaking.

Trixie is blind, and needs a very special home that will understand her disability, and accommodate her needs. She can be a little timid at first, but once she warms up and learns her surroundings, she opens up and is a happy, friendly puppy.

Trixie will be up to date on vaccines and spayed before adoption. Her available date is 1/29/16.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Trixie, a Lima Australian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever for sale in Lima, or seeking a Australian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Lima.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lima already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lima breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Australian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lima paves the way for another one to be saved.
