Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello!! My name is Harly and I’m a sweet 8 year old boy. I have a beautiful, black shiny coat and weigh 75 pounds – quite a cutie! I am coming from a local shelter where I was waiting patiently for my owner to come pick me up and he never did. Not sure what I did wrong but I am a boy that doesn”t hold any grudges. The past is now behind me and I am ready to live a new, happy life.
My foster family has been giving me a lot of attention, which I find just delightful! My foster mom is taking me for walks that I enjoy. I am learning a lot about walking on a leash and look forward to learning more things. I don”t need to go on long walks, I am fine spending my time at home, next to my humans. My favorite thing in the entire world is to lay down at your feet when you are home. I am a little afraid of the outside world, maybe because I am deaf and I cannot hear what is going on around me. I have never shown any aggression toward people or kids, other dogs, or even a fly for that matter. I am what you call a submissive boy just because I don”t want any trouble.
I am house trained and I sleep calmly all night in my crate — it is my safe place. I don”t mind being in there, I spend time in my crate even with the door open. I really enjoy having company during the day so I would do best if someone in my forever family was retired, worked only part-time or from home. I would also love to have a fur brother or sister if possible but I am fine without.
I’m starting to get comfortable with the love and attention from my foster family but I’m very eager to meet my forever family so I can truly become part of it. Please call your family rep and come and meet me.
