FELLOW DOG LOVERS, PLEASE HELP!! We need to find a home (temporary or otherwise) for Vanessa, a beautiful 8-9 year old purebred German shepherd found wandering, and starving, near the I-95 highway in Miami. We have since learned that this sweet baby was abused and neglected by her previous owners and eventually abandoned. She has a history of distrust towards strangers (no doubt due to the horrible treatment she received and then being homeless for several months) but has been incredibly loving to her foster, her daughters, and her other dogs. This poor baby needs a loving and patient home; she needs a chance. She is HW + due to neglect but is presently receiving treatment.
