My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Rachu!

Breed: Formosan Mountain Dog

Age: 1 year
Weight: 33lbs
Size: Medium
Dogs: Good with big and small dogs
Cats: Good with cats
Kids: Good with kids
Housebroken: yes

Leash: Good on leash
Energy Level: Medium to High

About one month ago, Rachu was found wandering around the street, sleeping in front of public parking lot place. According to the venders there, he showed up at that neighborhood no longer than 2 weeks with clear appearance and friendly personality. People also noticed that his right-back leg appeared a little bit weird. According to the vendor, it seems that his previous owner drove all the way here to abandon him. He has not yet experienced the bitterness of being a stray dog and still get affectionate every time people approach him.

Our rescuer took him home and had him examined by the doctor. The doctor diagnosed that his right back was once break and hasn't been medical treated. Miraculously, the joint healed itself and attached together in the wrong way. That is why he can walk and even run properly with his right-back leg slightly crooked.

He is a total sweat heart. With one gentle calling, he will come to you with his tail whipping and ask for some caress. When you pet him, he will shove his head into your belly, which is really cute. He is also smart boy I've ever seen. He learned to pee at the designated spot in only 2 days. He loves to play with other dogs and people. He really gets along with other dogs and always asks for more fun. But this playfulness also suggest he needs more disciplines to show him rules. Sometimes he cannot tell what are toys he can play and to tell our cushion apart once.He is so greedy about food, especially about meat. He always finishes his meal in only 3 minutes and acts silly face while watching people eat. He loves outside. He will try to sneak to get out of the house while door open. He gets excited when we walk him. Most of the time, he can properly walk besides people with leash on. Only sometimes he needs a little head-up to remind him to behave. I believe that he can be a perfect companion for anyone.
