Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Please go to GO Boxer Rescue and fill out an application. The website link is: goboxerrescue.com
Hello! My name is Joe Jackson. I will be 8 months old on 1/21/16 and weigh almost 70 lbs. I used to live with another family who also had a schnauzer who was always mean to me and I don't know why. I think my previous mom thought I would be happier in another home where I wouldn't have to worry about the ol' meanie. Apparently I have a lot of energy, but I hear that is normal for an 8 month old boxer puppy so I'm not too worried about it.
My foster mom says that I am very sweet and a huge cuddle bug (the vet's office fell in love with me too). I love sitting on her lap. She doesn't seem to mind that I'm 70 lbs (for a little while, anyway, until she can't feel her legs)
I've been living with my foster family since 1/10/16. There are two other boxer boys there (4 and 8 years old) that are fun. We wrestle a lot; they let me know when they've had enough. Sometimes it takes me a while to figure that out, but I'm learning. There is also a six year old boy that probably has just as much energy as I have. We have fun together. I love everybody. I don't know if it would be a good idea if I were to be in a home with really small children. I love to play so much, sometimes I forget how big I am. I'm afraid that I might push one of them down and accidentally hurt them. I hear there are other animals out there called cats, but I've never been around them. Not sure if I would like them or not. So far, I've liked everyone I've ever met my whole life.
I am house-trained. I sleep in the crate at night and also go in there when my foster mom leaves the house. It's not too bad. I get to take my toys in there, so I have something to do. I love toys, all kinds. I'm okay on a leash, but we haven't really gone on many walks because of the weather, so I haven't had much leash training.
I am up-to-date on all my vaccines and am neutered.
