My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gigi came to Home Fur Good as a stray. We believe she might have been abused/hit because she used to flinch at the sight of a hand approaching her face for a pet, but with love and patience from our volunteers she has learned that many people are good. We are very proud of Gigi for she has come a long way; in fact, she craves and enjoys human company now. She is one of the first cats to greet you as you walk into the cat room and her eyes plead with you:" Please, pet me! Please, pay attention to me !" She really enjoys attention as long as petting is gentle, slow and easy -- she does not appreciate rough play or handling and she does not enjoy being picked up. Gigi is one of those cats who would rather be the center of your attention without any rivals, she would do better as the only cat at her new home. She is also a very playful girl; she especially enjoys playing with a string or any other fun interactive toy. When it comes to solo play, she will carry certain toys in her mouth while making funny meowing sounds. She is a lot of fun to be around! Please watch 3 short videos of Gigi to see what a wonderful little girl she is:
