Josephine (Spayed)'s Story...
"Josephine" is a beautiful adult female Hound mix who arrived at the HSOV on January 18, 2016. This gorgeous girl has a tan-and-white short smooth coat, a long tail, and a darling face with a liver-colored nose and short semi-erect ears. Her right ear is spotted and her left ear is solid tan .. really stunning and interesting face on this lovely girl :) "Josephine" was so warm and comfy on her elevated bed that we didn't have the heart to take her outdoors for glamour photos since the temperature was 15 degrees at the time :( She is a fairly big girl who weighs 65 lbs. "Josephine" is now available for adoption since she was not reclaimed. She has alraedy been spayed.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Josephine (Spayed), a Marietta Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
