My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tanga came to us pregnant from a hoarding situation. We also found out she was heart worm positive. Our first step was to let her have the babies. She ended up having 3 babies that all got adopted. Then was our next step to take care of the heart worms. This takes a couple of months with her having meds to prepare her for the shots she has to have for the treatment. This is no fun for a dog to go through so we want to make sure they are ready for it. We have done this many times before and this does not cause problems for the dogs later on in life at all. We are getting rid of the problem so they can have a happy healthy life. Tanga has gone through all this now and is looking for her forever home. Tanga is a sweetheart who can be a bit timid to start but will soon come out of her shell. She is about 2 years old and 17lbs. She looks like a Spaniel/Feist mix to us. She loves to play with other dogs at her foster home and does not bother the cats in the homes either. She is fully vetted meaning fixed, current on all shots, micro chipped and on monthly prevention. We think she would be suited with other children as sometimes young children can be very loud and we think this might scare her with her being timid/shy. She would also be great for a single person or older couple. She is just waiting for her forever home, are you it?
