My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello, My name is Lucy or as some call me, Lucky Lucy. I've been through a lot in my year of life but I don't let it bring me down. My leg and belly are shaved in my pictures because I recently had surgery after some people that had me let me get very sick and starve for a month! I'm all better now though and loving life and my foster home. My excellent foster mom and her dogs have taught me things like going potty outside, "sit", "lay down", and I'm working on "stay." About the only thing I refuse to learn is how to stay in a crate but I do well when left alone in a dog safe home. I love everyone I meet including other dogs, cats, kids, and peoples. My favorites are belly rubs and playing with my ball. Oh and if you haven't noticed I have the most beautiful blue eyes that I must have gotten from my traveling salesman daddy. I can't wait to find my forever home so if you're interested apply to adopt me today.
