Holly's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Holly's Story...
Holly is an ultra sweet, long hair, 3 1/2 year old dachshund, She is spayed, up-to-date on her annual shots and rabies. She is both house trained & crate trained.

Reason for re-homing her is that she is an escape artist and former owners were afraid she will get run over on their busy street. She gets along well with everyone as well as other animals but not sure about tiny ones such as hamsters, etc.. This was a very hard move for her owners but they'd rather her be in a safe place than to find her run over in the street. She will love you unconditionally and is a good back warmer in bed. If you have a home that has a secure back yard and not on a busy street, Holly will make you a wonderful companion.

Holly's adoption fee is $140. Holly can be visited in Texarkana, AR. Call (870) 330-4125 for appointment.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Holly, a Texarkana Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Texarkana, or seeking a Dachshund dog from a breeder in Texarkana.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Texarkana already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Texarkana breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Texarkana paves the way for another one to be saved.
