found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, not good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.
Milo is a handsome blue and white Maine coon mix who is around 2 years old. He was living outdoors for a while until someone brought him into a high kill shelter, where we found him and got him out, just in time.
Milo is making great progress since coming into foster care, He spent a lot of time living outdoors under someone's porch, until he found his way into a shelter. When he first arrived in his foster home, he was not sure what to do. He kept to himself and just watched what was going on.
He is definitely feeling more comfortable. In addition, has started following his foster mom around the house. He is now making his presence known and will lie right on your chest and stare at you. He also likes to help you out while you are on the computer and will play with all the things on your desk. Milo has become his foster moms shadow and is always right by her side.
Milo does have an issue with his tail. Our vet thinks that it was broken in several different areas. Because if this injury ( which is fully healed), Milo has no use of his tail and has no feeling in it. His tail just hangs there. Even though he cannot feel it, he is not a big fan of that area being handled. He will let you know when he does not want it touched. Because of this, it is recommended that Milo not be adopted into a home that has young children.
Milo is up to date with vaccines, has tested neg for FeLV/FIV and is neutered. He is not a big fan of other cats, but does tolerate living with them. He does not seem to have any reation to the dogs.
MIlo is current on his vaccines, is neutered, negative for FeLV/FIV and uses the litter box.
He is located in Blairstown, NJ. If you would like to start the adoption process, please fill out an application at http://www.omcrescue.org/forms/adoption_application.php
