August's Info...

I am already spayed, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

August's Story...

We pulled August from Indianapolis Animal Care & Control to get her out of the shelter and into a home environment where she can get a second chance. We believe her to be about 10 months old. While she knows 'sit' and 'shake' she doesn't understand or know the first thing about potty training. (backwards, huh?) August would be okay with other dogs and seems interested but not aggressive with cats. She's a sweet, sweet girl and needs patience and kindness and someone to show her the ropes. If you're interested, please email Courtney at adoptions@facespayneuter.org for information! Thank you!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

August, a Indianapolis Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Indianapolis, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Indianapolis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Indianapolis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Indianapolis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Indianapolis paves the way for another one to be saved.
