Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Bert is a handsome 4 y/o beagle boy who came from a shelter south of Houston. He had a cherry eye and a need of a loving home. Bert is a muscular 34 pounds and 15 inches tall.
Bert came in with his buddy Ernie. Bert is more outgoing and playful than Ernie. Bert loves to play and carries his favorite toy where ever he goes! He excels in games of chase and can be very gentle when wrestling with much smaller pack members. As with males who are neutered late, Bert has had trouble learning not to mark in the house. It took him a little over a week, but he finally has the idea that trees are for marking! When he is in the mood for chewing, Bert always finds a good bone and never objects that do not belong to the pack!
Bert will soak up any love you have to give. He is like a dry sponge that has not seen water in a long time. Sweet and good natured, this boy will make a wonderful addition to any home.
