Believing in even the possibility of a happy ending is a powerful thing. - Snow White from 'Once Upon A Time'
We believe in happy endings because we know they are real. We take sad rejected unloved and unwanted pups like our handsome Sharky and start new beginnings that have happy endings. Sharky is a gorgeous 2 year old white husky/lab mix weighing 43 lbs. We don't really know this sweet goofy boy's full story or how he ended up in a high kill southern shelter but we know all about his present life and future dreams. Sharky has had to start everything from the beginning and has proven to be a pretty good student. He has been given high marks for house training being well behaved indoors. Sharky is crate trained but he prefers to be bribed to get in, protests for a minute, then it's all good. Foster mom says he needs a little more training in a few areas because apparently no one ever took the time to work with him on basic commands. He is currently learning some simple things like sit. He is good on leash for the most part but will pull if something really interesting catches his attention. Sharky is great with people, other dogs, and did quite well with his cat testing. He is a funny lovable boy who enjoys running around playing with toys or chasing after a ball or a Frisbee. Sharky is still learning how to be the best boy he can be so will do best with a person or family who are ready and willing to take the time and effort to continue his training. Huskies and Shepherds are very intelligent and energetic (and affectionate and lovable), this boy is both so physical and mental exercise is a must...in other words no couch potatoes. Sharky is already neutered, up to date on all vaccinations, and current on preventatives. He has come a long way in a short time and will only get better. He's not perfect yet but he can and will be with the right folks who can truly give him the most powerful thing of all.....love, time, patience and the perfect happily ever after.
