Suzie is an approximately three year old domestic shorthair feline. She is a torbie (tabby with some orange) in colour and has a very cute white tip to her tail. Suzie is very friendly and just wants to cuddle on your lap and purr.
Suzie was surrendered to Heartland Animal Hospital & Veterinary Services after a diagnosis of Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV).
FeLV is a chronic viral infection which can affect a cat's immune system. Cats affected by FeLV can lead long, healthy lives, but are more susceptible to infections and other illnesses than other kitties. This means that Suzie should be kept as an indoor kitty and ideally would be the only cat in the home.
Suzie is participating in our Courtesy Adoption Posting Program and is not the property of Toronto Cat Rescue. Toronto Cat Rescue does not accept responsibility for any pet placements that result from this service. If you need more info or would like to adopt please contact Heartland Animal Hospital and Veterinary Services at firstname.lastname@example.org or 519-291-2060 directly. Thank you!
