My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bonnie is a sweet, shy medium sized girl that has had a really rough year or so. See Bonnie was living in a field next to a busy shopping center for over a year. She managed to dodge traffic and had several people leaving her food. In fact she was a bit plump upon rescue! She was initially in a foster home and did very well except she started to chase the cats so that didn't work. She has never had an accident inside and asks to go out and also knows how to use a doggy door. She lives with all the rescue dogs of all sizes and does great. Once Bonnie gets to know you she is a faithful companion. She does need a companion dog to help her with her shyness. She is now a love bug, plays, prances and dances when she is happy and is an overall great little gal. A little older kids would be best as small ones may scare her. Do you have it in your heart to give this sweet girl her furever home where she'll never have to fear being left in a field again? You honestly will not be disappointed. She amazes me more and more every day.

Please note all dogs are located in San Antonio, TX. We advertise out of state due to the critical pet overpopulation problem here in the south. We use Rescue Road Trips to transport the dogs to your area. They are all up to date and come with a health certificate. The fee is $170 adoption and $185 transportation = $355. Thank you for considering adopting a southern dog.
