Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Gabriella is a tan Chihuahua mix who weighs 11 lbs and is about 3 years old. She was an owner surrender with four other dogs. We don’t know the reason she was dumped at the shelter but we’re glad she was so she can have a second chance at the life she deserves.
She is sweet and gentle if a little timid and shy. She came to the shelter with bite chunks missing from the tops of her ears from another dog. They are healing up nicely. Despite this, she doesn’t hold a grudge and is friendly with other dogs. We think she would do fine with a medium energy dog in the home. She also knows how to set boundaries if she is playing and the other dog gets overexcited. She adores people – both men and women . She needs time to decompress in a new home and she can be a little iffy with some men but once she bonds with the women in the house, she's a non-stop cuddler and kisser. She walks well on the leash; doesn't pull or lunge. She is almost potty trained. Gaby sleeps nicely in her crate and has a good appetite. She may cry a little when left alone but she settles herself down pretty quickly. She is food and cuddle motivated so training should be a breeze. She really has no behavioral issues and is the perfect little girl who will curl up on the couch with you or go for a brisk walk. So long as she is with you - she's good!
