Howie's Story...
Howie was dumped from a truck and taken in by someone who saw the truck leaving. His rescuer wasn't able to keep him, but they did a very good deed keeping him from being hurt or lost and fending for himself. He is doing great in his foster home, playing well with others and learning that there are good people who will care for him and not abandon him. He is only nine months old and deserves a second chance at a good life in a loving home. Howie's foster mom is working on his leash training. He loves kids and ignores cats. His face resembles a Jack Russell Terrier, but his body is more like an Australian Cattle Dog and he is about 40 pounds. He's adorable. His adoption fee is $200.00 His birth date is 2/28/2015 ADOPTION PENDING!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Howie, a Russellville Australian Cattle Dog/Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog/Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Russellville, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog/Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Russellville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Russellville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Russellville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog/Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog/Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Russellville paves the way for another one to be saved.
