Asta's Info...

I am already spayed, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Asta's Story...

This pup will be available to go to it's fur-ever family on January 30, 2016, after it has completed H4S's strict quarantine period which requires 3 puppy boosters and spay/neuter surgery recovery time.

Since H4S has learned that this pup's daddy was a Chihuahua, we will not be accepting applications where there is a small child living in or visiting the home regularly.

Generally-speaking, Chihuahuas are not a good match with small children.

IF this pup seems to be a good match for you, your family and environment, please send us your cpleted application, located at: www.howlin4spirit.org/adoption-application/

Adoption fee: $350(includes spay/neuter, micro-chip, 4 puppy boosters, Bordatella and Rabies vaccines, plus current health certificate, Martindale collar and leash)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Asta, a Portland Beagle/Dachshund puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Dachshund for sale in Portland, or seeking a Beagle/Dachshund puppy from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Dachshund breeders who help with Beagle/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
