Meet Duke! Duke is a Rottweiler mixed with Pit Bull. He is a big boy at 70 lbs. He has perky ears and big green eyes. Duke is always sporting a smile when around people. He is very connected to humans. As a staff favorite at the North Central Shelter he came highly recommended to Downtown Dog Rescue. Duke is a very gentle, sweet boy who wants to be accepted by all. He is an all-around solid dog. At six years old Duke enjoys walks and playing with other dogs but is also very content lounging in his bed. Duke would thrive as the one and only dog in a household but would also do very well with siblings to play with. If you're looking to adopt a fantastic dog who has already gone through puppy hood and figured out what he enjoys in life (hanging with his human) then come meet Duke! Duke is living at the DDR kennel, socializing with dogs and charming all of the volunteers.
