Meet Faith, our 5year old female American Bulldog weighing in about 95 lb.  She’s a big girl with a heart of gold.

Originally she came to our rescue after her family had to give her up after being deployed oversees. We have found that with all the changes in her life, it has started taking a toll on her confidence and ability to trust. Faith can be startled easily and her instinctive reflex at times is a protective nip when surprised. This instinctive reflex can be remedied and managed by understanding how instinctive reflex works in dogs and through consistent behavior modification techniques.

Due to Faith’s current insecurities and instinctive reflex, we think she will do best in a home that is calm, gentle and kind and where there is routine that she can trust and rely on, and one without young children. Her new owner(s) will also need to be willing and able to devote to helping her build confidence and training through positive reinforcement that the world is not a scary place to be in. We know Faith is so loving, affectionate and good natured and we hope to find her the happy home that she so deserves.

Faith should be the only pet in the home.

If you see that you are that person or family for Faith, please come meet her.
She is spayed, micro-chipped, and current on vaccinations. Her adoption fee is $450.

About Forever Home Dog Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Forever Home Dog Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We receive dogs from owner surrenders and overcrowded shelters. All of the dogs are housed in private, loving foster homes in the greater Seattle area. We assess their behaviors and health and help them relax during their transition to a forever home. The dogs remain in foster care or in our kenneling facility until they are adopted. All of the dogs visit our vet for a health screening, are spayed or neutered, microchipped and are current on routine vaccinations.

Forever home dog rescue is not a shelter and thus you cannot see the dogs without an appointment.

We need foster homes! Thinking about adopting a dog, but not sure yet about which breed or if you're ready for the long-term commitment? Consider becoming a foster parent. A foster dog placement can be anywhere from two weeks to several months. We provide any dog supplies you may need and cover all necessary medical costs for your foster dog. You provide the love and attention and bring the dogs to adoption events at least twice per month.

Interested? Send us an email at and we'll send you a foster application. It's lots of fun and you will meet lots of dogs and other people who love dogs.
