Jenna's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Jenna's Story...
Jenna is a gorgeous Malinios mix with a docked tail. We think she is 2-3 years old. Jenna is quiet and doesn't like hyper dogs that are noisy. She does tend to prefer smaller dogs. She is kennel trained and leash trained. She's spayed and heartworm negative. Adoption fee is $130.00 and includes spay/neuter, heartworm testing, age appropriate vaccines including a 3 year rabies, health exam, deworming, and microchipping. Any animal 6 months or older is considered an adult. No animals are vetted until they are adopted as we do not have a vet on staff. Once the animal is adopted we make a vet appointment, and they must go to be vetted before they can go home with an adopter. Call 985.651.7387 for more information regarding adoption.

Act quickly to adopt Jenna. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jenna, a Laplace Dutch Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dutch Shepherd for sale in Laplace, or seeking a Dutch Shepherd dog from a breeder in Laplace.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Laplace already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Laplace breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dutch Shepherd breeders who help with Dutch Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Laplace paves the way for another one to be saved.
