Annie came to Pack Leaders Rescue on January 6, 2016 from the Hartford Shelter where ACO Sherry Degenova was taking care of her. Annie was found on the streets in Hartford thrown out like garbage by her former owners. This sad girl was obviously neglected and abused and left in a terrified state. Annie is now in a foster home getting the TLC she needs.

Annie went to the vet yesterday and she is up to date on her vaccines, on some probiotics to help settle her stomach and a special diet to help her stomach issues as well as to help her gain 15 pounds. She is very skinny and doesn't move much currently. Annie likes to snuggle in her bed and is terrified to stand up around people and rolls over on the ground if you go near her.

Annie has shown tremendous progress over the last two weeks. Annie now runs around and plays with her stuffed animals. Annie's stomach has settled and now enjoys meal time. She is still new to getting attention and being loved, that will come with time.
3/17/16 We are happy to report that Annie is now spayed, up to date on vaccines, and enjoys playing with her toys. Annie loves her walks and looks forward to learning all about nature this year for the first time in her life. Annie is good with other dogs all all people. She initially wants her space but warms up quickly.
5/1/16 Annie is a happy and healthy girl who has come such a long way. Annie enjoys the simple things in life; the outdoors, playing with toys and foster sister, her comfy bed, and just being by your side.
